LIHCA’s Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill is April 23, 2024. To prepare, we want to let our legislators know we have something to say! Join us for LIHCA’s Week of Action. Together, we will raise awareness of expanding more opportunities for affordable homes. LIHCA's Week of Action will occur between April 8- April 12, 2024. Having a place to call home is critical to EVERY opportunity we all have and have had; unfortunately, we don’t have enough. 

• Share social media posts about the affordable housing crisis and LIHCA's work to address it. Social media captions are attached.
• Email your legislators and urge them to support policies making housing more affordable. https://actionnetwork.org/letters/tell-your-lawmakers-to-support-affordable-housing-solutions/ 
•  Share your struggle to find, maintain, and keep a safe and affordable home on social media with the hashtag #FundtheAHTF
•  Invite three people to join LIHCA and become advocates for affordable housing.

By taking these actions, you can help us improve the lives of Alabamians struggling to afford housing. Together, we can create a more just and equitable Alabama where everyone has a safe and affordable place to call home.
