About the Low Income Housing Coalition of Alabama

Join us for an interactive learning session—Introduction to Low-Income Housing Tax Credits to Increase Housing Opportunities for Survivors—designed to demystify how LIHTC developments can expand safe, affordable housing options in Alabama. Led by Andrea Miller, Chief Housing Officer at ZeroV: Kentucky United Against Violence, who brings extensive experience and deep expertise in both housing programs and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, this session is a must for those interested in Alabama affordable housing initiatives.

Who should attend? While the session centers on strategies to meet the housing needs of survivors of domestic violence, the tools and insights shared are equally relevant for housing and homeless service providers seeking to broaden access to stable low income housing in Alabama for vulnerable community members.

Participants will engage in discussion, explore real-world examples, and gain practical guidance for building partnerships with developers and leveraging LIHTC opportunities to strengthen their low income housing Alabama programs.
